Truk Lagoon
8th April 2009

Truk is wreck-divers heaven. In 1944 Operation Hailstorm, a US aerial assault devastated Japanese maritime fleets or 260 planes, 60 vessels and amongst are submarines, Japanese Zeros, Betty Bombers, Destroyers and Supply Ships. Warm tropical nutrient rich waters have converted the wrecks into flourishing artificial reefs.truk-lagoon.ships

The 40m Truk Odyssey is perhaps one of the most beautifully maintained and well appointed live-aboard dive boats in the world, and certainly sets standards that few other dive boats can even remotely pretend to achieve!
