This 3 day course teaches candidates to construct effective teaching presentations and conduct PADI programmes.It concentrates on developing candidate teaching skills through independent study, classroom sessions and practical application.



As a PADI Assistant Instructor, you not only gain additional experience as a PADI Professional scuba diver, but you also start learning the PADI System of diver education. You can act as an instructional scuba assistant and assume limited teaching responsibilities. It’s a great way to gain experience in order to become a scuba instructor!

Assistant Instructor Roles

1. Present academic elaboration for any PADI diver course under the indirect supervision of a PADI Instructor.

2 Teach and certifiy Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty divers under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor.

3. Independently conduct the Discover Scuba Experience.

4. Teach and certify students in PADI Emergency First Response after successful completion of a PADI Emergency First Response Instructor course.

5. Teach and certify students in a non diving specialty such as Equipment Specialty or distinctive Oxygen Provider course after successful completion of a Specialty Instructor Training course for that specialty.

Requirments; PADI Divemaster or equivalent, submit an approved diving medical from a physician conducted within the past year and to have logged 60 dives. Course material includes Instructor Candidate Workbook. FREE Drysuit Pool Orientaion Session.
