 PSA - Advanced Nitrox with Decompression Procedures - £470 - 4 Days

Course description:
The NEW PSA Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures Course introduces the use of enriched air (Nitrox) mixes for extending bottom times, and Rich Nitrox Mixes (up to 100%) as decompression gas. This course covers dive planning i.e. gas requirements, oxygen limitations and nitrogen limitations, dive physics and physiology. Also the dedicated equipment needed for mixes over 40% and common mixing procedures for dives up to 45msw. This program is designed as a stand-alone course or it may be taught in conjunction with other PSA courses i.e. Advanced Wreck or Extended Range. The main objective of this course is to train divers how to plan staged decompression dives not exceeding 150fsw/45msw using PC Decompression Software and equipment requirements with more gear setup considerations.

8hrs classroom and practical
6 open water dives

Open Water DIves:
6 dives are required with a student to instructor ratio of 3:1

 TDI - Advanced Nitrox - £260 - 3 Days

Course description:
The TDI Advanced Nitrox Course introduces the use of enriched air (Nitrox) mixes for extending bottom times, and Rich Nitrox Mixes (up to 100%) as decompression gas. This course covers dive planning i.e. gas requirements, oxygen limitations and nitrogen limitations, dive physics and physiology. Also the dedicated equipment needed for mixes over 40% and common mixing procedures for dives up to 130fsw/40msw. This program is designed as a stand-alone course or it may be taught in conjunction with other PSA courses i.e. Decompression Procedures.

Three-day course

4 open water dives

Open Water DIves:

The TDI Decompression Procedures course may be combined with this course at a special 'combined bundle' price of £500. Club Rate £470.


Prerequisites; Advanced Open Water Diver, EanX Diver (or equivalent) , 15yrs old, 50 logged dives with 10 between 27-40m.
