PSA - Advanced Nitrox with
Decompression Procedures - £470 - 4 Days Course description: The NEW PSA Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures Course introduces the use of enriched air (Nitrox) mixes for extending bottom times, and Rich Nitrox Mixes (up to 100%) as decompression gas. This course covers dive planning i.e. gas requirements, oxygen limitations and nitrogen limitations, dive physics and physiology. Also the dedicated equipment needed for mixes over 40% and common mixing procedures for dives up to 45msw. This program is designed as a stand-alone course or it may be taught in conjunction with other PSA courses i.e. Advanced Wreck or Extended Range. The main objective of this course is to train divers how to plan staged decompression dives not exceeding 150fsw/45msw using PC Decompression Software and equipment requirements with more gear setup considerations. Course Format: Three-day course 8hrs classroom and practical 6 open water dives Course content: History of Enriched Air Diving Physiological Principles of Enriched Air Diving Advanced Dive Planning Methods of Generating Nitrox Using Nitrox Open Water DIves: 6 dives are required with a student to instructor ratio of 3:1 Full price is £500. This program is designed as a stand-alone course or it may be taught in conjunction with other PSA courses i.e. Decompression Procedures. Course Format: Three-day course 6hrs classroom and practical 4 open water dives Course content: History of Enriched Air Diving Physiological Principles of Enriched Air Diving Advanced Dive Planning Methods of Generating Nitrox Using Nitrox Open Water DIves: 4 Advanced Nitrox dives are required with a student to instructor ratio of 3:1 The TDI Decompression Procedures course may be combined with this course at a special 'combined bundle' price of £500.
